    This webinar provides an opportunity to connect with the European Federation of Education Employers. Their Secretary General, Daniel Wisniewski, will offer insights into the employers' role in the education sector in Europe, specifically their views on educational technology and their efforts to promote its advancement.

    Additionally, Panagiotis Karamalis, a key EFEE member and representative of the Hellenic Association of Independent Schools, will discuss EFEE's most recent project, EducAItion, and explore the integration of AI and technology in education from a managerial perspective.

    On 01.07.2024 the European EdTech Alliance held a conversation about the EU Digital Education Action Plan (2021-2027). This 90-minute workshop provided the opportunity to directly engage with the Commission by discussing opinions on the ways organisations currently engage with the DEAP and what future DEAP opportunities could be most beneficial to your organisation.

  • EEA meets Council of Europe

    On 21.02.2024 at 14:30 (CET) we discussed the Council of Europe´s 2030 Strategy with Ahmet Murat Kilic, Head of Digital Transformation and E-Learning Unit. With a focus on “Advancing education through a human rights-based digital transformation”, we explored their preparatory study for a legal instrument to regulate the use of AI in education, and the idea of a review system for EdTech solutions. On top of that, we received information on the upcoming 2025 European Year of Digital Citizenship Education.

  • EEA meets UNESCO

    On 11.01.2024 at 14:00 (CET) we had the opportunity to hear about UNESCO´s Digital Transformation Collaborative (DTC) and the Global Education Coalition.

    In addition, Borhene Chakroun, Director for Policies and Lifelong Learning Systems, shared UNESCO’s vision for engaging EdTech in the conversation about advancing quality assurance and evidence building, as well as informing about the Annual Meeting on 25 March.

    EEA meets DG EAC

    On December 11, 2023, the European EdTech Alliance (EEA) launched its innovative series, “EEA Meets…”, with a dynamic online exchange between EdTech organisations and the European Commission Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport, and Culture (DG EAC).

    Georgi Dimitrov, Head of Unit, and Simona Petkova, Policy Officer, from DG EAC's “Digital Education” unit provided valuable insights into EU policies and funding avenues pertinent to the European EdTech ecosystem. The discussions focused on identifying needs and exploring opportunities within this sector. We welcomed participants from 21 European countries, spread across all educational segments.

  2. Breakout Sessions, after providing you with an overview of the market we will deep dive into 3 different markets: K12, Higher Education and Lifelong Learning.

    You can choose the market that is most interesting for you. After a short introduction, you will have an informal conversation in a smaller group. Each room will have 1-2 experts & 1 moderator to keep it lively, navigate you and help with your questions. The session can last from 30min to 1h, depending on the audience interaction. If you are interested in more than one or you want to re-watch anything, don’t worry, we record the whole Webinar and you can request it afterwards.

  • EdTech Map Insight Report Webinar

    Now that our European #Edtech Map Insight Report has arrived, we would like to take the opportunity and have a closer look at our findings: over 60% of all mapped companies are ‘Micro’ enterprises, the gender division with 42,9% being founded by male and only 12,4% by female entrepreneurs and 73,9% of all mapped companies being led by males and only 26,1% by women.
